Our Story:

Music, for 9mm SOLUTION, has always been a way of life. A constant mantra to persevere and overcome the hardships of tragedies. Members Hobbes Caltous, Dave Gregor, Jason Hellman, and Ed Wallner, all relate to their moniker very intimately. 9mm SOLUTION is more than a name, it's a rule.
Aggression, passion, and intensity define them. Since 2003, they've hit long and strong, creating a reputation for being one of midwest's most powerfully impactful groups. Their debut EP, "The Trial," helped them hit the region with the reverence of a baseball bat to the face.

Since The Trial's release, they continue to establish themselves. From organizing a benefit for homeless victims of The Rock Shop fire, to opening for Damageplan on the Rock Stage at Summerfest . 9mm SOLUTION's mission is clear: to bring their aurally assaulting music to the masses with swiftness and extreme determination.

In September, 2005, 9mm SOLUTION enlisted the help of long time friend TIM KING (SoiL, Mortal Music co exec). What was to be a short effort to fine tune the band's songs quickly became pre-production. This turned into an arduous and intense studio project, spawning their latest demo tracks "Hate This Place", and "Visualize to Terrorize."

In the following months, with help from King, they've not only continued to write songs and hone their already strong sound, they've sharpened their live show. Having donned suits for performances, the band walks the walk their name suggests. 9mm SOLUTION.
