Our Story:

Aaron Blackmar began playing guitar at 13. Self taught and very devoted from day one. Blackmar recorded his first album at the age of 14, a punk rock record with his band from Tyler, Texas. At the age of 20 Aaron started Backlit Revolver in Austin, Texas. The band had some success and recorded an album in 2004. After the band was over Aaron decided to focus on songwriting. After several attempts to work with other artist Aaron decided to give scoring a try. " Scoring allowed a broader pallet in which to work. With influences like Elfman,Hermman Zimmer, Newton, Silvestri, Leonard, horner, soule, powell, bach, brahms, Aaron hopes to find his own voice in the world of scoring. Aaron Blackmar is a proud member of ASCAP
