i've played this CD at afterparties in L.A. and San Diego -- proudly -- cause i know first fuckin hand they dont suck. Saw them at SXSW one year out of nowhere. They were the most real thing I coulda walked up on, but what shocked me was that i went into (undisclosed austin dumper bar) only to see that muufhggin Jason McMaster was manhandling the low end tone as well as Kings' X's Doug Pinnick, the singer reminded me of various metal singers, all pro elements but he very much had his own thing, guitar tone was unafraid; like only the most real Austin rock bands can be, and the drummer was keepin'm all under surveillance. Easily one of my favorite Texas metal rock groups.

Activator is the greatest band I have heard in a long time. I tell you to buy this album or be a music listening disgrace
I saw these guys at Bums Sports Bar in Temple, TX. Excellent show. When are they coming north!
