Our Story:

A Liar Before came to be through a rapid series of connected events that mapped themselves throughout the entire spectrum of emotions. The project started in Lubbock and tumultuously morphed from full band, to acoustic, to full band, to acoustic project until finally Evan decided he might try to reassemble the project in a new setting. Ultimately, Evan (vocals and guitar) landed in Austin with a self-performed, produced and manufactured eight song EP in tow searching for like minded individuals to round out the band. The first weekend he stumbled upon (literally) Jason who eagerly took the bass position. Months later, Evan's friend and former boss, Ben, also moved down to Austin to play drums. Currently, the band is writing for an album to be recorded and released sometime in the near future.
