Our Story:
ALIENS WAS FORMED BY SINGER/GUITARIST BLAKE AND HAVE BEEN LURKING IN THE UNDERBELLY OF UNDERGROUND MUSIC SCENES IN NEW YORK AND AUSTIN. ALIENS WAS FORMERLY A THREE PIECE POWER TRIO WITH AN EVER ALTERNATING DRUMMER. THIS PROBLEM WAS SOLVED WHEN ALIENS DISCOVERED AN ANTIQUATED TRANSISTOR DRUM MACHINE THAT CAN POUND OUT STEADY AND HEAVY BEATS. ALIENS SOON DISCOVERED THE POWER OF THE DRUM MACHINE CAUSING NEAR UNCONTROLLED DANCING IN MOST HUMANS WHEN USING IT IN LIVE SHOWS. SOMETIMES ALIENS COMBINE DRUM MACHINE RHYTHMS AND LIVE DRUMMING CREATING A POLYRHYTHMIC AUDIO BARRAGE.
BLAKE PLAYS GUITAR LIKE A WILD MAN AND HAS BEEN TOLD HE "IS RAWPOWER" BY A RELIABLE SOURCE.
ALIENS HAVE RELEASED THEIR FIRST SINGLE CALLED "COMMITTED TO WIND" ON A LIMITED EDITION CD / EP WHICH INCLUES FOUR OTHER TRACKS OF STUDIO AND LIVE PERFORMANCES. THIS EDITION IS ONLY OF 100 HAND NUMBERED COPIES ON MISC. MUSIC AVAILABLE ONLY IN AUSTIN RECORD STORES, FROM ALIENSMUSIC.COM, AND CD/FUSE. THE 45 SINGLE WILL BE OUT IN FEBRUARY.

Thanks to various halfwits too numerous to name here (and at what moment exactly was Ashlee Simpson considered punk? - huh, guess I named one), pop punk has suffered a black eye.
