Our Story:

Back At Goliad is a metalcore band from Round Rock/Austin, TX, with intentions of making metal fun again. Lance McLaury, a founder and original member of the first Back at Goliad lineup, was joined by Michael Bayer, Chris Reyes, and Xavier Patterson to form the new and improved Back At Goliad. Original BaG drummer, Aubrey Farris, died in a car accident March 18, 2006. He loved music, loved playing drums, and loved all of us, his true friends. Lance decided using the BaG name would be a good way to honor Aubrey and help remember his legacy as he would have wanted to be remembered. They will be playing shows and releasing a 6-8 song demo within the next few months, so if you\'re in Austin and the surrounding Central TX area, look out for this exciting new band.
