"...immensely outnumbered but filled with an unrelenting thirst for battle the force stood ready for what lie ahead weapons in hand they raised arms toward the sky and their cry echoed into the ages...PREPARE FOR IMPACT!"
Blood Loss is an unstoppable rebel force, tearing its way through the metal scene with their aggressive music and intense live show. Their music is a combination of metal, hardcore, and a hint of death metal. Their live show contains of head banging, moshing, and unstoppable energy! Blood Loss has shut down shows and venues together due to their great crowd interaction, which keeps their growing following coming back to every show. Now with their new album entitled "You're Done in this Town" debuting in April, Blood Loss plans to show everyone how far they have come musically and prove that they are not your average local metal band.
In 2003, they released their first official 3 song demo, which gained the respect of people who talked badly of the band due to their prior demos which were recorded in a shitty studio. In 2005 they released their 5 song E.P. that started a buzz about Blood Loss; they were selling a lot of CDs, the shows were getting bigger, and the band was starting to get real recognition. Now with their new album just around the corner, the band is planning to drop jaws, pierce ear drums, and break necks. The new material is crushing, the response from the album's preview songs has been described as "ground breaking", "amazing", and "brilliant".
Phil, Chris and Mike have been playing together for almost 6 years now, under different band names and numerous different bassists. When Colin joined the band it was an instant click. Colin not only had the skills to play bass well, but he has been a long time friend of the band members and right away had a connection. The line up is solid. The band's musical growth is now soring to new heights. The band is writing heavier, faster, complex metal that is turning heads in local scenes everywhere. The band that once was looked down on is now the band that everyone finds themselves listening to over and over again and singing along at each show. Blood Loss practices three to four times a week, playing up to 60 shows a year in states all over the midwest, they have won battles, they have conquered audiences, and they dont plan to stop untill they are playing along side with the big dogs. This isn't Blood Loss till they give up, this is Blood Loss till fucking death!
