Our Story:

Cielo 69 hails from Corpus Christi, Texas. The band formed in 2002 in Dallas, Texas. Members include: Gera Lopez – voz, bass guitar and keyboards, Cerrillo – lead guitar,and Mario Capetillo – drums. After having a successful career playing locally, the guys took their music to the next level. They recorded a five song demo in Dallas which received regional airplay and got some airplay in the East coast. The band was invited to do a radio interview at Sirius Satelite Radio in New York. In 2006 the band was signed to Activo Records. They released their debut album on Febuary 25, 2007. Cielo 69 recently showcased for the 2007 Latin Billboard Awards. It was a successful event. Look for them in an issue of Billbaord. They plan to release a special remix versions of their hit singles. Their music has been influenced by bands like: Hereos del Silencio, Enanitos Verdes, Jaguares, and La Ley. Listen, you will not disappointed!!!
