Our Story:

This singer/ songwriter/ producer’s mission is to take R&B back to a time when song lyrics spoke of life and love. McClain finds that drawing from life experiences to be the best source for material for his songs. In essence, he wants to give his listeners something they can really feel. As a native of Baltimore City, it wasn\'t until his late teens that he realized his musical gifts. Though singing all of his life in church and other various choirs, McClain chose his love for R&B and hip-hop as his main musical focus. McClain, one-third of the Production Wise production team, took singing seriously when hooking up with fellow Production Wise member Heist. It was in the home of Heist where McClain honed his musical skills which includes singing and arrangements. Like most of his influences, McClain plays an array of instruments, from the piano to the trumpet. Though very humble, McClain says \"Production Wise is going to flip the industry upside down. It\'s time for a change and instead of complaining we might as well do something about it.\" McClain was also nominated for a 2006 Underground Music Award for “Most Promising Male Singer” and again this year for “Best R&B Male.” Through working with various artists and producers throughout the country… McClain is establishing a substantial portfolio and devoted fan base.
