Our Story:

Combining a variety of musicianships, such a David J. (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets); Matt Laug (Jagged Little Pill, Slashes Snakepit).. creators of Cigarette Potpourri (CP) have conjured an ecclectic blend of styles. Broadly compared to Blur, Dinasaur Jr., Beatles, Cake, Velvet Underground, David Bowie), every review/critique plays a major role as Deculture (our new label) develops this as it's first release. CP's core- Jonathon August Lee, Sound/Engineer (The Big Split; Centipede) and Vadim Yesilevsky (Entoptic Whores- UK, Germany, France, Netherlands; PLO Crackwagon- L.A.: Lemming Mesiagh- pending release) bring rock, world, and pop to entertwine with textured build-ups.
