The sea of tranquility void, grey. My dreams about the home life and the commander and the mission, exhausted me. I stood in the shadow of the earth, the quiet of the moon overwhelms me. I am truly insignificant...like Masamune Shirow's GITS2 Man-Machine Interface Motoko Aramaki, a multiplicity of personalities verging on schizophrenia, obliterated. The recurring dream of the mare tranquilitatis and the quiet strum of a backwoods guitar in Kentucky.
The commander says we gotta begin the collection, time is limited before we get roasted alive and then freeze dried. My suit strains to compete with the blackness of the lunar atmosphere. As flash-like as a moment, (das augenblick), the candyman's head through a mirror, I fell to my knees. A break begun, the crew came running in answer to my screams...
I shot the second mate, his blood floated slowly above the lunar surface before resting, pitter patter on the dust, the imprints permanent. The other crew members rushed me, blood and disbelief in their eyes, the commander ran up to prevent the rob from tearing me in quarters...
I knew this was going to happen. "Jacobs, watch the Commander, he shivved the MOREP and I think he's gonna get you all", I said.
Jacobs leaned over and whispered, "The Commander has always been a motherfucker, you take care of yourself and I'll take care of the Commander."
I was shaking uncontrollably from the MOREP jacklink termination, Lazarus was attending to my physical condition, but mentally I was back on Earth fucking my wife, and then spiraling to this void, my breathing oppressive. "Get me outta here Lazarus, quick! I need to get back to the Emodule and download a backup quick...fuck it hurts!"
Lazarus said "Cool down Allen, shit! you're gonna pop like flak if you don't freeze here first, so shut the fuck up and let me fix you."The four ECCEITY's from 1973F kept rolling through my head as the pain throbbed, the similarities between the four versions and the differences and the mindbending sounds and schizophrenic changes...so much like it is when you're jacked in with your MOREP, a million hare krshna cymbals tapping like incessant rain, earth flashing through my thoughts, the secret of noise.
Lazarus shouted at me 'Allen! Snap out of it! Don't quit on me you dirty bastard...'
Casimir Allen has spins the story of an astronaut who goes to the moon kills and is disgraced. Cas started this song cycle in Iceland. 'I was intrigued by the problems presented with such a story. I wanted the music to present a certain schizopsychotic, demonstrated by rapid changes in sound timbre, spontaneous song transitions, and effectively realisations with emphasis on the transposition operands 3, 7 and 11. I was inspired by numerous artists from my bloddy valentine to bob mould. I of course have to thank pahey for awesome drum tracks, and bill the guitar god for guitar timbre suggestions.'- Casimir Allen

i came across this band originally at musicv2 and really liked the sound production. I downloaded the tracks for this album. Casimir Allen's singing at times reminds me of big star chiltonesque and a male version of debbie from my bloody valentine, (which they cite as an influence.) The guitar work is impressive and apparently all the arrangements and sonic realisations are by mr. allen on trax like solitude lush and ecceity (all.) The sounds can be a bit sizzly so make sure the treble is attenutated, which is posted on their website as well. The album has a balance between some driving rock and ballads, check 'would you believe' for the softer side and plaintive guitar solo, or the driving metalesque ripper on 'door' or 'new scrape'. Overall a good release, though band photos are lacking, the story and the space theme fit in with the release. 5 flames
