Our Story:

Melbourne’s home grown but internationally known ‘Futureproof’ are the masterminds behind the club chart-smashing track – “We care a lot”. After meeting through an online ad requesting a singer & songwriter, Fraser & co-conspirator Emma began writing, recording & started playing live in late 2006.

They share a mutual love of eclectic & electronic sounds. Influences range from Kate Bush to Garbage to Nine Inch Nails. While breaks and electro are ‘Futureproof’ trademark styles, they are notorious for skilfully mixing a variety of genres into live sets to great effect. It’s not unusual to hear rock, drum n bass, and hip hop at a ‘Futureproof’ gig.

The overall theme through all their music is ‘melody’. The songs they produce feature unusual arrangements, sounds, and instrumentation, tied together by a trademark sense of space and rhythm.

Their first EP was released mid 2006 and the dynamic duo are currently working hard on their first video clip, with a full length album to follow soon.
