Our Story:

How To Set Fire was formed in late February of 2006 consisting of former members of local band Your Perfect Tragedy, Autumn's End and I Float Above. Starting out with vocalist Chris Franco, HTSF got an early start on the metal scene. But come July 2006, Franco leaves the band due to musical differences, and that's where I Float Above co-vocalist Kyle Mustin stepped in and gave the band a much needed breath of fresh air. Gathering their musical influences from bands like As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Chiodos, and Protest The Hero, there isn't much How To Set Fire doesn't cover genre wise. Fans recognize How To Set Fire for their notorious stage presence for intense, neck-breaking breakdowns, brutal screaming, and melodic singing, many times all in one song. How To Set Fire has a large amount of experience from playing with bands such as Catherine, My Children My Bride, The Devil Wears Prada, Showbread, and many many more.
