Our Story:

The very first "Sundown Band" was started in 1984 in North Stonington, CT. It consisted of the following members: J.W. Garber,'drums'; Gene 'Wee Wee' Chicarelli, 'lead guitar'; Jake Chicarelli,'steel & keyboards'; Dave Phillips,'rythym guitar'; and myself, Lynn Stokes,'bass'. We worked together for 21 months, until my discharge from the Navy. I then cut a single in Nashville, TN with Universal Artists Records and was performing 3 nights a week at the V.F.W. in Dothan, AL.
