Our Story:
Oxford Collapse's music has been described as “highly danceable,” “spastic”, “punk-funk”, “chaotic” while the band has been described as “young firebrands” and “nerds who dress wrong.” While the music telegraphs a passion for the last two decades of American indie rock exuberance – looking to bands like The Embarrassment, Mission of Burma, Pylon and the Feelies- it's inimitable. Coming out of Brooklyn, NY, they aren't obsessed with 80s moodiness, nor a Stones or Hot Hot Heat rip-off; CD Baby summed it up well when it said, “This band will dash your mundane mainstream rock blues against the jagged rock of originality. Hark! We have a musical voice that stands out.”
