With their debut album \"Bitter Part of Me\" Panic Cell have raised their game to another level, one that no one in the band has been before. Following hot on the heels of their first E.P \"Rockaphilia\" this debut album oozes great hooks, riffs and catchy choruses. From the opening explosive notes of \"Damn Self Pity\" to the frantic finish of \"The End\" there\'s enough going on in between those tracks to warrant listens again and again. (\"If you like your metal presented the old fashioned way where hooks, tunes and choruses count much more than new trends then this bands for you!!\"Terrorizer Magazine.....\"Panic Cell is one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from the UK in quite some time. This five piece have a seemingly unlimited arsenal of catchy choruses, huge hooks and cool riffs!!\" Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles Magazine - Canada)
In terms of exposure in the media, 2004 saw the band venture onto TV with their videos for \"Away From Here\" & \"Save Me\" (Save Me reached No.1 on SCUZZTV playlist chart and remains the longest running video to date on the channel beating off competition from the likes of Slipknot, Linkin Park and Evanescence). The video for \"Thousand Words\" marked the debut for Panic Cell on MTV2.
2004 will go down in the bands history as one full of hard graft and groundwork, one where time spent was rewarded with endorsements by the likes of ESP Guitars, Peavey Amps, Line 6 and Tama Drums. A year that saw in the last few months Panic Cell tour with American Head Charge on Kerrangs Most Wanted Tour, Michael Schenker Group, Breed 77,Children of Bodom, Ed-Guy and Alabama Thunderpussy. A crowning achievement for the band was appearing live on the main stage of the UK\'s premier Metal Festival Bloodstock 2004(\"Quite possibly the best UK Rock Act out at the moment, an Arena band in the making - Bloodstock Management).
2004 is certainly a year Panic Cell will not forget, but what of 2005??
2005 was a huge year for Panic Cell which saw the bands profile grow bigger and bigger. February saw the band picked up by the UK\'s premier Street Team organisation XTASTER (www.xtaster.co.uk) with its members voting Panic cell \"Most Exciting Band for 2005\". The band also made its live debut in the U.S.A at the SXSW Festival in Austin Texas for the Metal Hammer \"Best of British Metal\" showcase which was immediately followed by a 9 date UK tour with American Head Charge. The year so far has also seen the band support the original line up of US Thrash Legends Testament, PC\'s debut headline show at the Camden Underworld and also support to multi million selling US giants Mudvayne. June saw the band play to a overspilling crowd pn the Napster stage at Donington for Download/Ozzfest 2005 support ex Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach and also open up new UK Metal Fest Bloodstock Open Air. August 05 saw Panic Cell sharing the bill with Machine Head, Nightwish and many more at Europe\'s premier Metal Festival - Wacken Open Air in Germany. September saw the band confirmed to tour Europe with Billboard chart toppers Staind along with Sevendust before the tour was postponed. Hot on its heels was Panic Cells confirmation as main support to another Billboard No.1 band, Disturbed on their European tour, which was cancelled 3 dates in due to David Draiman suffering from a throat infection. Undetered, PC returned home to tour with Fozzy (WWE Superstar Chris Jericho\'s band) before commencing a UK tour with U.S Metal/Rap pioneers Stuck Mojo. With further endorsements from the likes of Framus, Seinheisser, Jagermeister and the new video for Away From Here released in the summer of 2005 marking the bands debut on Kerrang TV.
The band kickstarted 2006 touring Europe with Soil & American Head Charge in January, a huge competition on Kerrang TV and a UK Tour with Staind and Flyleaf and dates with Skindred in April….but even this is not enough....
...Panic Cell are hungrier than ever and intend to get more than their fair share in 2006 and beyond.......
