Our Story:

There are two kinds of people: the ones who eat nuggets and the ones who listen to them.

People who listen to Nuggets usually gather to drink and dance. Some go a little bit further and decide to form a band.

Mário and Lanza met each other in 2005, in a rehab hospital for drug addicts. Both worked there as doctors, helping the poor junkies, but they were both fired because they just couldn’t dress in white.

Unhappy with the bitter fate of their beloved profession, they decided to let their hair grow and formed a rock group.

The band’s sound is a mishmash of blowing speakers, apparently malfunctioning fuzzboxes, agonizing feedback, grooves inspired by Mr. D. and lyrics so poetic and complex that make Bob Dylan sound like Mallu Magalhães. Add to that an unacceptable social behavior that would make Abbie Hoffman’s mother miss her son to death.

After six months locked up inside a fancy studio full of very expensive gear, the duo decided to finally dive into Belo Horizonte’s glamorous and millionaire garage rock market, recording their first demo with the help of drummer Wesley Maldonado, who disappeared under mysterious conditions which the band refuse to talk about.

Determined, Mário and Lanza hired a professional drummer by the internet, but he died during transportation. Desperate, they ended up hiring the driver of the crashed van, giving him the cymbals and drumsticks of the deceased aforementioned professional drummer. Tired of his deliveryman job, Daniel Poeira accepted the invitation and exchanged his van for 350 bottles of Jack Daniel’s.

Currently the band is drinking the 42nd bottle while preparing its first EP.
