Our Story:

RUPA---based out of the DC area. Our objective is not to take over the world, but to simply bring you with us to another world. The sounds you will hear are the culmination of the efforts of Paul, Chris, Brian, Ryan and Steve who each have odd ideas of what makes a song good. Together, we have strived to reinvent the wheel, and to create a controlled chaos, and audio-collage for the soul to wrap-around it's mind...and as you gently wipe away those tears from squeezing your eyes shut so tightly you realize that having them closed in corporation with the sounds are the closest things you have ever experienced that brought you one step further away from this planet. This is a truth; In its melody, in its honesty, in its uncanny ways of making you perpetually crazy while emptying your thoughts of all of cultures deprivations, of all creative resistance...RUPA is the beginning of experience, and thought.
