Same Day Service (SDS) combines catchy melodies and punk beats to create a distinct and memorable sound. More than simply an all girl band, SDS's definitive style is marked by their impressive musicianship: Imagine a GoGo's-of-the-new-millenium pop-punk sound, combined with an in-your-face stage performance. Hailing from Austin,TX, SDS was formed in Oct.1998 by twin sisters Sarah (guitar, vocals) and Maggie (drums, vocals) Rimassa. Christina Ownby (bass) joined in Oct. 2003. SDS has been D.I.Y. since day 1, doing everything from self-releasing 4 albums to booking their own tours all over the USA, and touring Europe 3 times. SDS's music has been featured on ESPN's X2Day show, PROPS video magazine and FUEL TV. They have played with a variety of bands including Motion City Soundtrack, Fallout Boy, Face To Face, The All-American Rejects, The Ataris, Thrice and Midtown. SDS's 3rd album, Waiting For Tomorrow, is infused with quality songwriting and solid performances. Sarah Rimassa's vocals anchor their sound as the band weaves through both up-tempo, happy pop tunes and hardedged punk anthems.
