Our Story:

Sandra's in urgent was officially formed in March 2006 by Stan (Stanford Dayou), who plays the drum. The band consists of Apis (Mohd Norhafidz) on vocal, Kacap (Amir Khasyaf) on 1st guitarist, Fendi (Afiq Afandi) on 2nd guitar, Mat (Mohd Kamarul) on bass and Stan (Drum). The purpose of forming this band, at first, was to join a 'Battle of The Bands' which was organized by Universiti Kuala Lumpur-Malaysian Spanish Institute also in March 2006. After the BOTB, we completed our 1st demo 'Tribute to FET' which consists of 4 songs, including a cover song from Grammatical Mistake. We really enjoyed in the recording sessions with Uncle Katrix, who own the recording studio in Butterworth, Penang. As time pass by, we were separated to our own choice University to make our Degree program. Stan, Mat and Apis went to UniKL Malaysian France Institute, Kacap went to UniKL British Malaysian Institute while Fendi went to UniKL City Campus. This condition make us have our jam session rarely, until a BOTB was held in UniKL MFI campus on 2006. Kacap's hostel was far from us to be present in our practice sessions. So, Stan replace Kacap as the 1st guitarist and invited John (Jonathan James) to be the drummer. Sandra's in Urgent won the 3rd place from about 20+ bands in the BOTB. John become our permanent drummer after playing for Sandra's in Urgent in many BOTB, include BOTB in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Malaya. Kacap actually still in the band. Sometimes we had a jam session together with him. That's how our band formed. Support our local music industry.
