Our Story:

Sheila Marshall is a native of Nacogdoches, TX, a small community deep in the heart of east Texas. Growing up surrounded by the colorful sounds of country music, Shelia developed a voice true to her surroundings. Sheila honed her skills throughout her formative years, and after high school graduation, Sheila was honored with a vocal scholarship to a college in Lufkin, TX. The liberal arts program provided Sheila with the encouragement to pursue her dream of becoming a professional singer. After college, Sheila found herself working full time and spending countless hours writing and rehearsing with her first band, and although the band lasted only a year, Sheila soon realized that she had to make a choice, whether to continue to work full time or chase her dream full time. Sheila made a choice to go with her heart, and hence the decision was made to chance everything and become a full time musician. Soon after, Sheila packed up and moved to Houston, where she found a booking agent, a band and started performing full time.
Before long, Sheila found herself in the studio working on her very first EP. During this time the road became her home, Sheila traveled and preformed an average of 50 weeks a year. Her music took her around the world, to places like Asia where she performed for our troops returning from the war in Iraq, a European tour that ended in France, Alaska, Hawaii, across the U.S. and back and headlined at places like Disney World. During this time Sheila released an acoustic EP and gained a sponsorship from Budweiser, which brought national recognition, and continued writing new songs, perfecting her stage show and building a large following.
After the national exposure from USA networks "Nashville Star" season 2. Sheila is releasing her much anticipated CD "Makes Perfect Sense" on Marsiek Records April 2005.
