Bringing a new style to the Hip-Hop Game in an era where music is starting to sound repetitive and stale comes the ShockWorld Gang. These quartet out of Dayton, Ohio have blended the varied forms of Hip-Hop into a different sound by infusing Hip-Hop, R&B, and Hardcore Rap. ShockWorld began with its founder D. Hayes(D-DOT), as a rebuttal to all people who told hem that he would never achieve his dream. He felt that everyone was against him and that he would have to Shock The World to prove himself. While in high school D-Dot discovered that an old friend Crimson(Crim) had picked up rapping. Crim and Dot automatically allied themselves and later met G Child(G) through friendly battles in the hallways. The three built a friendship and began making music together. After Graduating high school; leaving 2 memorable performances, they then added the DJ Duo the ShockKnights. The Knights consisted of Crim's long time friend, DJ WhiteKnight(Dub) and DJ BlackKnight(BK). It was through BK that they met rapper/producer J-Boze(Beeze). A deal was made so Beeze could use the groups equipment to produce, in exchange he would produce for the group as well. In a short matter of time the six all bonded and become not only friends, but a unified group. Having several failed attempts to get into the music industry individually the 4 rap artists realized that together they were not only a standout musical group, but a legitamate threat to anything the hip-hop world had seen. Thus the ShockWorld?Gang was born and ready to fulfill their destiny and Shock the World.
