Our Story:

The Sparkling Bombs started in 2001 in the East of France. Alyss(vocals), L a u r(drums), Matt(bass), Lady Bittersweet(guitar) and Joker(guitar) offer a mix of bubblegum pop and punk rock with trashy elegance. The band has created its own universe made of passion, frustration, glitter and trashy make-up.

Through their shows in France, Germany, Switzerland or Belgium, The Sparkling Bombs already gathered a regular audience. The band already played with bands such as American Heartbreak, Nashville Pussy, Groovie Ghoulies, Adam West, et
Summer 2002- the Sparkling Bombs released their first 5 song CD 'From Bubblegum Fun To Glittered Depression' (distributed by United Musics Company) which got positively reviewed in many countries (Sweden, Italy, France, USA, UK, Japan, Finland, Hungary...)

April 2003- The explosive band was chosen as an opening act for The Lords Of The New Church reunion French tour.

April 2004- ‘Dead Dreams From The Silver Gutter’, the first full-length CD of the Bombs is finally out! 10 glamorous punk pop hits and 2 live videos!
