Our Story:

Squid Vicious first surfaced in Austin, Texas, in 1995 and has been creating strange and enticing signals ever since. The powerful aural waves flow forth from the rhythms of crafty percussionist Adam "Smasher" Byram and artfully intertwine with the melodic styling of Bass Playin' Ben Howard. The hooks are cast and all of the right spaces filled in fluidly by Ted James, King of the Squid Guitar. The music is varied and the influences include surf, punk, and spaghetti western. The listener is propelled from the deep abyss to the infinite and back with stops at any point in between. The mind opens and moods are created.
