Our Story:

Super Heavy Goat Ass started as a 3 piece in 1999. The original members being Russell Abbot (lead guitar/Vocals), Brent Beopple (bass), and Tim Hurt (drums) and in 2002 they added Derrick Halfman (guitars) to the fray. This band's music is impossible to catagorize in one genre...but the only thing that is certain is they are loud and heavy.

This split between Southern Gun Culture and SHGA was the first release by Arclight Records, a local Austin Label. Each band lays down 4 songs and there is a cd extra of a SGC video. Look for a new full length album by Super Heavy Goat Ass this year, on Arclight Records (www.arclightrecords.com)
