Our Story:

The Affected is a multi-genre band from Denton, TX. At the present date, the project is focusing on promotional efforts and playing shows occasionally.
The music of the band stress unconventionality, while maintaining a strong song-based approach. The goal is to make new music, especially avoiding any “tried and true” formulas of rock, as those can be particularly confining. The band seeks to spread the word through the use of free or low-cost music and merchandise, eventually hoping to achieve a level of success that allows them to focus purely on this project. Whether that means label support or not, AFXD will remain undeterred in it’s quest to not do the same old thing.
