The attack formation is a truly global organization. With a membership of eighty plus people , they know the meaning of collaboration. Only half of the people live in their home state , Texas. Passing tapes across the globe has been a favorite way to communicate with people you don’t get to see very much, I suppose. Their sound comes out of so many different opinions , and so many people behind them. At the time of writing this, the other half come from as far as Japan, England, Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Chapel Hill, Canada, San Francisco, Louisiana, Spain, and Mexico. With list seeming to keep growing as we speak.
As, the only thing needed for membership is a desire to work together, membership will always stretch and grow.
Bands that have had to play second fiddle while their members played in the Organeyezation include, Total Sound Group Direct Action Committee, The Crack Pipes, America Is Waiting, Tune In Tokyo, Carbomb, The Ghost Of John Brown, Sean Na Na , Lucky Jeremy, This Microwave World, Terror At Ten Thousand Feet, Those Peabodys, Har Mar Superstar, and even Atom and his lil’ Package.
Since 1999 they have been playing with tons of bands, putting on shows. Touring . Taking care of bands from all over and sharpening their hospitable techniques in the kitchen as well. In the case of keeping things from getting stale and monotonous , they have changed their name from time to time. Often writing completely new songs days before the shows. The names that have been used , “A-FORMATIK ON TACT” and “The Attak (iN)Formation”, bring to mind early sonic death tapes me and my friends would sneak after class. With everything on the stage , they seem to have a music class going on. One hand will reach for something as the other eight to sixteen are all going for something different, everytime. I have heard at least twelve different versions of twelve different songs in the last ten times I’ve seen them. Live, they bring something missing from rock-art-wave music, they throw stuff, they have fun, they jump, they tear into a place. The one thing they always do , is bring fun to the people. ‘Cause they don’t always want to dance and they might need some help.
With all this name-changing, using different song set-ups. ( i.e. their drummer left for a month, then the guitarist took up his job while he was gone.) and giving clubs a few headaches with wanting to play in the bathroom (this was the absolute cleanest show ever, besides the two bloody faces that emerged at the end).Or was it when the twenty plus people got naked and overthrew the amps and destroyed it all.
With all this, take a truly open-air-lungs-out-breath towards everything. The OrganEYEzation does. YLC-ISA.

I see the Attack Formation website and come here to buy the record. Very catchy and noisy!
It come with a poster and sticker and button. I love the punk noise! ; )
People in my country will love this
I saw these guys demolish an art-space (Ice Factory) they played at back in November. It’s insane how 8 people can manage to stay/play in time at bullet train pace. The CD is no different (except there’s a long list of members inside that makes the number 8 look like a grain of sand) The sound reminds me of the first Trail of Dead record.
This record is great. I"ve seen these guys a couple of time in the twins city. The packaging on this c.d. is awesome to say the least. A button, a sticker, and a poster to boot. The recording is all over the place, but there is this really cool/weird continuity to the whole thing. Must be the water down there in Texas, 'cuase there's not anybody doing this kinda stuff up here. Now, where can i find the rest of thier records. I give it five flamey things.
Urban terror music. Infected Insect was damn catchy and that speak and spell voice on pre-amble always sparks some nice nostalgia. Can't wait til these guys play here again.
Got the link to check this band out. I think i will dream about it for the next couple of years
Fast-noisy-razor sharp. This record can cut you. Cd has an extensive layout. This stuff is inspirational in a non-Kenny G/ Michael Bolton way. If your ears aren't bleeding yet they will...
