Our Story:

The Brenda Vaqueros are a band that has been threatening to get their collective shit together for a few years now. Now seems as opportune as any time for the band to get it in gear.

This band is comprised of Brent Crosson on guitar and vocals, Kenna Burima on the keys and vocals, Adam Kamis on guitar and vocals, Ian Tennant on monster bass, and lest we forget, Daren Powell on the skins.

This quintet from the Stampede City are hopeless music junkies that have been performing their brand of psychedelic, twang-infused, garage rock for a couple of years now. The Brenda Vaqueros are a mix of seasoned vets and wide-eyed newcomers within the Calgary music scene and have emerged as one of Alberta's more interesting groups through their bombastic live sets.

The band plans to venture into the studio sometime during the winter of 2005/06. 2006 will hopefully yield a Brenda Vaqueros full-length release, regardless if the world wants it or not. Until then, enjoy the MP3s taped at one of their practices in September of 2005.
