Our Story:

The Carnies are an ecstatic four piece art rock band, expanding the storytelling realm with eccentric and hauntingly alluring music. Lavish vocals recount the curious mind mapping storylines, while the visceral guitar and resonant bass merge with the driving and rhythmic pulse of the drums. With such disparate influences as Kate Bush, Captain BeefHeart, Jaco Pastorius, and Elvin Jones, The Carnies draw from an ecclectic collection. The Carnies have played at venues such as The Knitting Factory, CBGB's, The Sidewalk Cafe, Kenny's Castaways, and the Lit Lounge. Their albums include Endless Stripping (2003), The Carnies Live (2005), Hardcore Nursery Rhyme Renditions (2006), and they are currently recording their third full length album entitled Window/Highway.
