Our Story:

A songwriter/producer in the \"story telling\" vein, WySduM is truly one of the few Christian rappers artists in which people can tell, without a doubt, who he is rhyming about. Combine Fred Hammond\'s worship with Cross Movements\' storytelling, and Outkast\'s beats, WySduM is who you get.

People often compare his style to the late \'80s rap artist who were more into telling stories on the mike, and moving the crowd than the amount of ice on their bodies. His goal is to usher in the presence of God through rap which many of his peers have found to be a difficult task.

When he drops one of his trademark holy hip hop tracks, his anointing is unmistakable. W.y.S.d.u.M. (pronounced “wisdom”) has his feet planted firmly by the river of life. W.y.S.d.u.M. captivates listeners with his powerful delivery of heartfelt lyrics. This fiery man of God, is right at home on stage, and makes the audience feel like welcome guests.

W.y.S.d.u.M. will release his sophomore project

on the Are You Ready Records label Thursday May 11th. Starting locally, he’s going with a full-scale promotion to college radio and the press, and will be doing a series of shows and ministry events. From there, he’s going to build the release to the rest of Maryland, the East Coast, and eventually the entire U.S., with a tour being planned and scheduled.

Having been a teacher/coach W.y.S.d.u.M. has experience, and knows what the youth of today feel as it pertains to music. Having produced tracks since 1996, and performing live since that same year, he is very comfortable behind the microphone. He has also been heard on several local radio stations uplifting the name of Christ.

W.y.S.d.u.M. performs in all aspects of show business, but ministering is nearest and dearest to his heart. He shares:

\"God has used me to really reach out to the youth using Christian hip hop as a tool to bring God’s healing power to hurting situations. My music will hopefully encourage those who have a relationship with Christ to continue to grow, and the ones who have never given their lives to Christ that they make a decision to do so.\"
